One Nite @ the Call Center

I recently read Chetan Bhagat's 'One Nite @ the Call Center' an interesting book abt six people n
events that occur one fateful nite.

Its not my usual fare but my reason for reading the book was i was desperate for reading material.
And let me tell you, when ur desperate you will read just abt anything you can get ur hands on,
irrespective of the blurb sounding interesting or not. I'm kinda broke at the moment, so no more trips to the library and my UPS has conked off.... Given the rampant power fluctuations in my locality, i'm not risking my system for ebooks :(

Anyways back to the book, now there's nothing new answering calls, especially if it forms the primary part of your job description. But this call was different, it was a call from God.
Events that occur all in one nite, with flashes into the past make the book a quick and overall interesting reading experience. However, one feels a bit squirmy (for lack of a better word) after having read the book.

I've always felt that reading books was exactly just that - FICTION. The places, landmarks, people, attitudes etc somehow felt a bit far off and different but this book was authored by and Indian and personally, i could relate more to it, for all that the book was a piece of fiction....

Yet to read the author's first book - Five point Something, supposedly about student life at IIT. Need to get hold of tht now
